Business Development Center (BDC) Manager – Automotive

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute service-focused marketing and outreach strategies to increase appointment volume and customer retention.

  • Lead the Service BDC (Business Development Center) team to meet daily outbound call, email, and follow-up benchmarks.

  • Analyze service trends, appointment data, and campaign performance to identify areas of opportunity and growth.

  • Implement service campaigns targeting customer pay, warranty work, maintenance retention, and declined services.

  • Partner closely with Service Managers, Advisors, and Fixed Ops leadership to align goals and initiatives.

  • Monitor call quality and team performance to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

  • Utilize CRM and DMS tools (such as Xtime, Reynolds, etc.) to manage workflow and ensure accurate customer records.

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive service, BDC, or business development management (preferred).

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of team success.

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

  • High proficiency with CRM/DMS systems and reporting tools.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to create and execute strategic plans.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead under pressure in a dealership environment.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dealership BDC experience
  • Must have valid driver's license
